ABOUT US
Photobreak was founded by Thomas Sandfield and Kim Daniel Vedal in May 2025, two photographers driven by a shared curiosity for everyday life and the stories hiding between moments. What started as a simple outlet for photography quickly grew into a platform for exploration, reflection, and visual storytelling.
At its core, Photobreak is about slowing down in a fast world. It’s about noticing light, gestures, streets, and silences. We believe photography isn’t just about gear or perfection, but about presence. About being there when something small but meaningful happens.
Our work moves fluidly between analog and digital, street and portrait, personal projects and commissioned work. We test cameras, revisit forgotten classics, walk cities without a plan, and talk openly about process, doubt, inspiration, and the joy of creating. Photobreak is as much about the journey as the final image.
Today, Photobreak is a growing creative platform that includes blog writing, photography projects, collaborations, and community-driven ideas.
We’re also proud to have Tommy Nordpole as part of the Photobreak team. Tommy is a photographer, adventurer, and visual storyteller with a strong connection to street photography, travel, and everyday observations. His work brings a grounded, curious perspective to the team, blending exploration with an eye for small, honest moments. Through video, photography, and shared walks, Tommy adds another voice to the Photobreak story.
Photobreak is not a destination. It’s a pause.
A moment to look again.
